Game-Changing Beauty {4}.

I haven’t done a ‘game changers’ post in forever, but it’s definitely time I revisited the concept. These products are a little different in that they really changed my mind about them, as you will come to see…

First up, the Bumble and bumble Pret-A-Powder (£21); I wasn’t a huge fan of hair powders since first discovering that Osis stuff back in the day – too much and it made your hair feel awful, and it took three washes to get it out. I was almost completely sworn off them until Bumble released this 3-in-1 style extender, dry shampoo and volumising powder. It’s one of my most loved hair products, adding texture and body to hair in seconds. It’s almost impossible to overdo too, so you never experience that cakey feeling in the hair. Bleugh.

Illamasqua Sculpting Duo (£26) is another product that instantly wowed me – before this I had never really considered sculpting products. I just didn’t think they would work for me, or they would mess up completely and look dirty or caked on my skin. I was wrong, as this Illamasqua duo in Heliopolis & Lumos is a favourite of mine, so easy to use and light enough for my fair skin tone. It makes such light work of achieving a more defined face, and I can actually sculpt my football head! The highlight is lovely used alone too, such a complexion-perfecting hue.

I included the Weleda Aknedoron Purifying Lotion (£7.50) as it’s an absolute favourite of mine, and also because it converted me to natural skincare. Before this, I didn’t really see the fuss when it came to natural products – they seemed less effective and more expensive. This was neither, and I saw such great results so quickly – I went from having acne to having clear skin so quickly (though not just because of this, I’m sure) and it did it all without stripping my skin. I love!

Last on my list is the This Works Perfect Legs Skin Miracle (£37), another product I avoided out of fear – these tinted products always make me worry as they can look so muddy and unnatural, and also it rains a lot here in Glasgow so it seemed like the type of product to just wash off in streaks! I tried this out recently on a night out, having forgotten to fake tan the night before, and I was seriously impressed. Legs looked golden and perfected, like I had used foundation on them – but super natural! A little goes a long way too, so you can really achieve a leg-like result. Definitely worth looking in to!
