Evening Skincare Favourites.

I did say there was a skincare-heavy post on its way, and I wasn’t kidding! I thought I would sum up my typical evening skincare treatments with a nice photo and some accompanying text, so here goes…

Let’s face it, this post was basically just another way for me to mention my beloved Weleda Purifying Lotion (£9.95) – I am obsessed with this stuff. So obsessed that I’m worried I’ll finish it before I have a chance to purchase a new bottle! I’m really in to Weleda as a brand at the moment, and this is one of the products that completely swayed me on natural skincare. It’s a light lotion that is used after cleansing to help purify and treat the skin. It’s aimed at those with oily or blemish prone skin, thanks to the amazing ingredients within that help to soothe and calm irritations, while also preventing future breakouts.
It’s not drying, it’s not harsh and there’s no nasty ingredients, and I can honestly say it has saved my complexion!

Another skincare wonder that I’ve found myself recommending a lot is the new Pai Perfect Balance Blemish Serum (£42), an insanely good treatment for healing up and preventing blemishes. This stuff is amazing – it takes down spots overnight! I use it all over as a serum, and as a spot treatment too, so it’s a bit of a multi-use wonder. Of course, the all-natural formula only serves to help the skin so it doesn’t irritate or feel heavy or drying once applied. Me love.

Antipodes Hosanna H20 Skin-Plumping Serum (£27.99) is another natural wonder that I apply regularly. Whenever I use this I sing Toto’s ‘Rosanna’ to myself, which is probably not something you should ever admit publicly.
Anyway, this silky serum aims to plump and hydrate the skin for a freshly glowing, super healthy complexion. It smells lovely, comes from my native New Zealand and always has my skin looking dewy come morning. What else do you need to know?!

Finally, Weleda Iris Night Cream (£13.95) – I’m very picky when it comes to my creams but this seems to be doing the job! This is light yet hydrating and feels gorgeous to apply; admittedly, it’s nothing special but I think that’s why I like it. It just does the job without breaking me out or costing a fortune! Go Weleda.

Have you tried any of these?
