No matter if your social calendar is perennially packed, or if you’re unwinding for Summer, May always proves to be ultra-busy. The end of May brings two memorable rites of passage -- prom and graduation. To prepare for the beauty blitz required for these outings, we like to pamper ourselves at Olive & June for a manicure and pedicure and choose from a veritable kaleidoscope of colors. The beginning of summer always inspires with extra incentive to celebrate in style. Book a night at Santa Monica’s Oceana Hotel and hit up its beach club bar, Tower 8. Come Memorial Day, the unofficial start of summer of pool parties and beach BBQs.
