DIY Tassel Necklace

I was browsing pinterest the other day, as you do, and I fell upon this cord & tassel necklace that got me thinking of making my own design. It’s strange to think I was making similar things when I was ten out of the same materials (who didn’t have a friendship bracelet book?), but that is the glory of colourful embroidery threads, there are so many different interpretations to be made and some many things to make with them! It’s really quite simple, and takes hardly any time (I’d say a couple of hours due to the cord wrapping) what do you think? Would you wear something like this?
