A Swedish Engagement

On Friday, the Swedish Royal Court announced the engagement of Prince Carl Philip and Sofia Hellqvist. Prince So-Nice-They-Named-Him-Twice Carl Philip proposed to his long-time girlfriend Sofia at the royal summer estate just hours before the press conference. The future princess received a stunning halo set engagement ring. The wedding is expected to take place during the summer of 2015.

Effervescence Media Launches New Site

The lovely ladies who brought you WWKD and The Refined Side have launched a new website, Letizia’s Closet. Letizia’s Closet follows the style, fashion, and news of Queen Letizia, the new Queen Consort of Spain. Her new title (she was recently upgraded from Princess of Asturias to Queen!) lead to a surge in her popularity, and we absolutely love her! From accomplished news anchor to Queen of Spain, we can’t wait to see what the future holds for her!

A Petite Princess iPhone App

The lovely Patricia at A Petite Princess recently developed an app for our mobile phones. The app features APP blog posts, a picture library, and social media streams. It is a fantastic way to stay up-to-date on A Petite Princess’ site, see Kate’s outfit choices, and catch up on Twitter! Buy it here.

Seraphine Maternity’s Just for Love Campaign

As previously mentioned, Seraphine Maternity – Kate’s go-to maternity brand – is hoping to raise $20,000 for Baby2Baby. All you have to do is upload a picture of your “Just for Love” moment onto their instagram-style page. It is a fantastic way to support a great charity and show off your little prince or princess! Happy Birthday, Royal Baby by Martha Mumford

Ah, we are suckers for a good marketing scheme! Who could resist this newest installment in the “royal baby books” category? Martha Mumford, author of Shhh! Don’t Wake the Royal Baby!, has penned a new children’s book to mark Prince George’s first birthday. The book details all the planning required for this very important occassion, including baking a jam-filled cake and playing Pin the Tail on the Corgi! The book is available for $7 on Amazon.
