Wardrobe Wednesday: RepliKates on eBay!
We are suckers for amazing repliKates. I mean really – who can resist the allure of an identical dress for $60?! Obviously not us. So when the lovely ladies on Facebook (Kate’s Closet and Tatiana’s Delights) posted about this new eBay seller with a TON of repliKates, we could not resist sharing it.

eBay seller doll2079 is a China-based seller producing inexpensive dresses identical inspired by Kate’s sartorial choices. The prices are reasonable compared to others in the market – the yellow Roksanda Illincic dress is only $55 – and the variety of designs is impressive. Many of the dresses available are pieces that are nearly impossible to find repliKates for.
Tatiana from Tatiana’s Delights bravely purchased the Diane von Furstenburg ikat wrap dress for a mere $59. She notes that the fabric and quality aren’t quite up to DvF standards, but the dress is a fantastic repliKate. We think she looks absolutely gorgeous in the dress, and are willing to try the dress ourselves! You can read her full review here.
Many readers will note that “you get what you pay for,” and that is very true.These particular dresses are all decent quality fabrics (usually nice blends suitable for the dress), but they may not be the best quality dresses. Before you scoff at the China-based company, look at where your own clothes come from. Made in China? Polyester or cotton blends? Expect the same quality from these items!
We love Kate’s style, but sometimes we can’t justify the price tag for the real thing. These replikates are adorable and many Kate fans have purchased similar pieces with nothing but rave reviews!
