The Duchess of Cambridge, accompanied by the First Lady of New York City, Chirlane McCray, visited the Northside Center for Child Development Centre in Harlem this morning.

The Duchess and First Lady took part in gift-wrapping with volunteers and met with students undertaking a craft-making exercise.

Kate also met with children lined up outside to meet her after the engagement, undoubtedly a highlight for the children – and chilly for Kate with temperatures around -3 degrees!

She paired the coat with black tights, Episode “Angel” suede pumps, Mulberry “Bayswater” clutch, Cornelia James Gloves, her Annoushka drop pearl earrings and a lovely hair half-up, half down style. New York’s first lady, Chirlane McCray, met Kate outside in a lovely purple Nanette Lepore coat of her own.
