My Dear Friend Laura Has Cancer And Needs Prayer

Many years ago when I first started using the computer somehow I stumbled across the MSN groups. There were all kinds of little sites you could join. There were gardening sites and home style sites- a site for every interest imaginable.
I fell into a group having no idea what I was doing. There I met a gal named Jettie who showed me the ropes. She gave me enough help so that I couldn't hang myself. Without her guidance I would never have started a blog. Anyway- Jettie introduced me to a couple of other sites. One of them was for gals that were all about the same age-most of us married with grown kids.... and there is where I met Laura. They were closed sites so we shared a lot of what was going on in our lives and got to know each other quite well on a personal level. Here she is giving the thumbs up after chemo. and losing her hair.

Eventually the MSN groups went away and each group struggled to reunite on other sites but most of the groups never really got back to their former status. I fell away and so did many others.
One of the people I lost contact with was Laura. I was surprised to hear from Jettie that Laura had cancer. I contacted her and, as private as she is, she sent me a picture of herself and asked people to pray for her.
She has been undergoing chemo and doing quite well but has had a setback with a lung infection. She needs prayers to get through this because they have halted her chemo temporarily.
So, if you have just a moment, please stop and say a prayer for my old friend, Laura... well...not OLD old... you know what I mean!
Laura, if you are reading this I am hoping that I didn't share more than I should have. Just know that I am sending you love and praying for a full healing for you.
