Stripes, Polkadots and Bows

Last weekend I threw my friend a Bridal Shower. The event took place at The Belly Clan which is located inside Intiland Tower Jakarta. This is the second time I use Belly Clan for an event venue. Not only their minimum spend for hiring a private room is very reasonable as opposed to most places in Central Jakarta, their food also taste great. I also think that their private room is versatile for any kind of theme.

My friend Novi is a girly girl. We met when we were both studying in RMIT University in Melbourne, became housemate once and remain friends ever since. For her bridal shower, I have decided to use stripes, polkadots and pink bows as the theme.

All the decoration concept and stationery are designed by me (under my new brand Pippa Paper). I love designing for parties as it gives me a freedom to explore my creativity.

Lucky for me, my best friend is a wedding decorator and florist from Jonquilla Decor. We have collaborated in a lot of events and we are starting to get comfortable with each other’s style.

For the dessert table, we ordered that cute bow cake from Jolly Cakes, and I made some candy bon bon thing with Japanese green tea marshmallows inside!

Overall I’m very happy with what we have done for this bridal shower. All of the elements come nicely together.
