Easter at Thorntons

Easter is so close the chocolate scent is wafting through the air and as with every year, we have all been on the hunt for our perfect Easter Egg. Ash always goes for something milk chocolate, my Dad dark, while I like white and my Mum – well she will give any kind of chocolate a go at least once.

When it comes to chocolate a couple of places come to mind as offering something really special and one of them, which has stayed with me since my childhood has to be Thorntons, I have lots of chocolate memories link to it – from being allowed a small bar or my pick of the chocolates out the cabinet after a long trek around Oxford when I was a child, to picking it up for presents as friends and family as I got older as I know they would enjoy tucking into one of their favourite Thorntons chocolates.

For me Thorntons offers a special chocolate, one made to be enjoyed and not scoffed down in one go – yet with all its ‘extra special’ chocolate feel and taste – the price thankfully is a little more pocket friendly that what you perhaps could expect from an expert Chocolatier.
