Vivienne Westwood at Silver Tree

Silver Tree started as a silver specialist in the city of Lancaster over 25 years ago, since then they have grown to become stockist of well-known brands such as Michael Kors, Kit Heath, Pandora and of course Vivienne Westwood, while they have branched out to include an online store, making it easy for people across the UK to shop with them. Each purchase made from this store comes with free gift wrapping and gift bag, meaning it is the perfect place to go shopping for that special gift no matter the occasion.

Have you ever come across a brand and fallen in love with them straight away? Vivienne Westwood was a designer who had that effect on me, she has just the right amount of quirky, to make me smile, while also with a lot of her jewellery also looks perfect for everyday wear.

At the moment Silver Tree has a wonderful sale section, full of a number of different brands, but perhaps most notably to me, Vivienne Westwood. Where you can buy a number of rings and pendants most of which have sale prices of over 50% off – take the beautiful Balkan Folk 3D Orb Pendant (bottom right of the top image) it has a RRP of £175 while it is on sale for £122.50, while the top left Crystal and Pearl Feather Pendant was £220 and is now £154.

Silver Tree were kind enough to treat me to my choice of Vivienne Westwood from the sale.

As soon as I saw this beautiful watch from the Time Machine range, I knew I had to own it and I was lucky enough that Silver Tree agreed to let me have it for review. This watch features a PVD gold plated case and has a quartz movement; the face features a gold dial, with date function and is waterproof to 50 meters.

As part of the Camden Lock II collection, this watch comes in both a ladies and men’s design with a choice of straps, the ladies comes in at around 42mm in width and 11mm in depth.

While the back of the watch face does feature a stainless steel covering, the watch has also been made so the fabric strap (in a beautiful deep red and black contrast) continues around the back, meaning *touch wood* there should be less chance of any reaction to the metal.

I’ve always had a bit of an issue with setting the time on watches, thankfully the larger sized face, allows for a larger crown which in turn makes for easier time and date setting.

Personally I was over the moon with this watch and although the larger size of the face, it is really comfortable to wear and has obviously been well thought out in terms of style, comfort and usability.

Sadly this watch is no longer available at Silver Tree – but if you are looking for a watch as a special gift sometime soon, I can definitely suggest checking out the rest of the Time Machine collection that is available at Silver Tree.

What do you think of my new watch, do you like Vivienne Westwood?
