DIY GOLD LEAFING PEN ART (video)

Hello from Manhattan where I’m having such an exciting week! I’m here taking part in a Project Runway style design challenge with Better Homes and Gardens (myself and two other bloggers were given an assignment, a budget, and an intense timeline to put it all together while the BHG film crew documents it all). It’s been everything you can imagine– exhausting, exciting, and more of both of those. Once the projects are completed and the video is edited, it will go up on BHG’s website and you can vote for your favorite completed project (eeeee!). I’ll post more about that next week.

But today, I’m sharing one of the projects I have planned for the challenge– a DIY Gold Leafing Pen Art creation. It’s easy and looks so high-end. My favorite.

While I was at Las Vegas Market, I came across a pair of framed art pieces that I fell in love with. They were very expensive so naturally I wanted to create something with a similar look, but without the hefty price tag. Today I’m sharing this easy and inexpensive project via video tutorial:
