"ORGANIC MODERN" BATHROOM DESIGN

I happen to have no fewer that 6 bathroom remodels getting underway right now, so I'm looking at a lot of bath design inspiration lately. I'm really drawn to this "organic modern" look, which mixes natural wood tones with lots of white stone, quartz, and tile.
(all photos via my Pinterest "Baths" inspiration board)

(I'm kind of loving the trend of big round mirrors too ...)

Adding touches of black and charcoal to this mix looks really beautiful too, I think. It's balanced so nicely by the warm wood tones and all the white finishes.

I have one client who wants to throw a patterned cement tile floor into the mix, which I am more than happy to oblige! (I went on and on about my love of cement encaustic tile in this post.)

One of the spaces I'm designing has the quandary of the windows needing to be behind the sink (like below) because that's our only option.

I'm working out how to possibly hang mirrors in front of the windows so that we can have our cake and see it too :)

This look can go very rustic modern like this ...

Or it can be a bit more refined and traditional like this ...

I think that lovely grey chevron wall above is done in ceramic tile, but I have my eye on these weathered reclaimed wood tiles by Everitt & Schilling, where my friend Erin works. Wouldn't they look ahhhmazing in an "organic modern" style bath? Such great texture!

Here they are in Erin's kitchen ...

I have a feeling these will be making an appearance in one of my upcoming projects.
Anyhow, that was a whole lotta lotta Monday morning inspiration pictures to get our creative juices flowing. Hope your week is off to a good start!
