new chapter

Some shots from around my cozy home. We’re starting to pack up this week to move to a beautiful place more suited for the two of us and it just began to feel real and like maybe I can’t breathe. We’d been looking for months and encountered so many hiccups along the way that I was starting to think the whole thing was going to take years. I can be that way sometimes. Chris went to see a new listing on his own and seemed at once more serious and more excited when describing it to me than he’d been about any other place. The following afternoon we went together, him sort of hoping I would feel the same way about it and me sort of being slightly skeptical and weirdly nervous. And then I saw it was somehow everything we had dreamed of finding but better. As we took the next steps, everything fell into place almost eerily seamlessly and now at last it’s just hours before we get the keys! I can’t wait to make it feel like home and will be sure to share photos as we get there. SO. EXCITED.
