When I was invited by Kim of
Life Over Cs to write a guest post on her blog, she suggested I create a craft that is inspired by Dubai. Now, this challenge really had me going, and what Little Dude and I made was what Dubai traditionally stood for - the desert.
What we created was a 'desert in a box' or as Kim described on her blog, a
biome diorama. According to what I could figure out, biome diorama is a teaching tool in which a 3D model is created to show something in the natural ecosystem, such as a desert or forest or pond.
Here's a sneak peek of what our desert box looked like:

my guest post here to see how it turned out, and be sure to check out more teaching, arts, activities and craft ideas on Kim's blog.
