Ohh the things I've found in my closet | #nospend2014

I like having these days to come here and keep myself accountable for what I am wearing each week. My goal of no shopping for the whole year is in full force. I have found that the no shopping part isn't so hard because I have no stores near me that I want to spend my money at. I think the hard part is thinking ahead to trips Michael and I are planning and worrying if what I have will be "good enough" to wear. Silly, I know but I like to have options because I am so indecisive. Too help with this, I have put all my spring/summer clothes away in a closet that I'm not allowed to look at. I'm hoping that when the warmer weather finally gets here and I can pull out those clothes, it will be like a shopping trip all over again. Fingers crossed for me friends.

Last week was my first week back to school since last year (hehe). We were lucky to have last Monday off which left me with 4 days to figure out what to wear. Thankfully we have set days at our school where we wear certain shirts on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. I feel lucky for that but I've found myself really stepping out of the T-shirt box on Wednesday, Thursday, and Fridays.

This wednesday, I got dressed and found myself wanting to wear this little shirt my mom surprised me with for Christmas. I would rather have worn skinny jeans but I wasn't sure if that was appropriate for school so the mint skinnies had to work. They are from Buckle from about a year ago and probably another fair of my favorite pants. You can tell they are a little big which I love and the shirt being oversized just made me even happier.
Can you tell I had a migraine and had to leave school early this day? On Saturday, I had spent most of my day pinteresting and found this cute little outfit post. I tried to replicate it with things I had in my closet and my pictures was as close as I got. It was too hot for a big jacket so I was one layer shy. I got those black skinnies from Forever 21 a few months back and I've never even put them on. I am not too good about things that are extra tight but I think they are actually ok.
Obviously she did it better because she isn't standing in a mirror taking a picture of herself.
The goal of this goal of mine is not to bore you with my outfit posts but rather make me dig into my closet and see what I have and what I really do and don't wear. I am trying to wear some thing once and then put it away so that I can see which clothes don't need to be hanging in my closet any more. That and to utilize each piece in my closet before I recirculate. Thanks for letting me come and share my goal update friends. Happy Wednesday. Hope your week is going amazing.
