Finding New Blogs To Read

While we're all for a good beauty read, we do love to broaden our horizons with a little fitness, food or crafty chat to spice things up a bit. Struggling to find blogs to get stuck into? Here are our tips for seeking out some new reads...

Join Bloglovin'
If you're not on Bloglovin' already then this should be your first port of call. Sign up for free, then you can 'follow' blogs and see all new posts in a feed, instead of visiting each blog individually.
You can search for your favourite blogs or find new ones by viewing 'popular posts', and browse different categories like fitness, home decor, travel or food and drink - there's just thousands of incredible blogs waiting to be discovered. There is also an excellent app available which means to can stay up to date with your favourite reads (both old and new) at all times.

Follow Bloggers On Twitter
Pretty much every blogger uses Twitter as a way of sharing new posts and engaging with readers, so if you come across a page you like be sure to follow them. You will find that they mention their favourite reads from time to time so make sure to keep an eye out as they're probably of interest to you too.
Check your feed in the morning as this is when most bloggers schedule the first post of the day, and keep an eye out for who they follow on Twitter too. You can also follow networks who retweet posts to give bloggers more exposure, which is a great way to get random posts on your feed; we like @fashbeautylife, @blogginggals and @bloglovin to name a few.

Search Instagram Hashtags
Following your favourite bloggers on Instagram is good way of keeping informed about what they eat for breakfast, but it's also a source for new blog reads. Most bloggers will use hashtags to get more likes, so use the search feature to find posts about subjects you are interested in. Try searching bloggers, fbloggers, bbloggers, beauty, lifestyle, food, newblog, newblogpost or anything else you can think of. Most bloggers will have a link to their website in the bio section of their profile page.

Research Your Hobbies
Every organisation has a website, but did you know most companies have a blog as part of their site too? Not only that but a lot of celebrities are turning their hand to blogging to share their tips and connect with fans. Lauren Conrad was one of the first to commit to creating a vast amount of content for her lifestyle website and many have followed, like Olivia Palermo, Kim Kardashian and Lady GaGa who all spend time updating their blogs regularly.
Find out who is important in your area of interest and they will more than likely have a blog; for crafts think Martha Stewart and for fitness search Carly Rowena.

Do you have any ways of finding new blogs? Feel free to share your own blog, and your favourite reads!
