Five on Friday

Today is a VERY special day. My bestest friend, my soul mate, the love of my life, and my baby daddy is turning 30 on May 30th. To celebrate his champagne birthday, I am dedicating my Five on Friday to this stud muffin.

One. You still give me butterflies.

After 10 years together, I still feel a flip flop in my stomach when I see you. You are the handsomest guy I know, so when I see you coming, I get a little nervous. I am SO lucky to call you mine.

Two. You make me laugh… harder than anyone I’ve ever met.

One of the million reasons why I love you is for your sense of humor. I’m always amazed at how you can make anyone and everyone laugh. From your quick wit to your funny jokes, you always have a way of turning a bad situation into something laughable.

Three. You are the most incredible father to our sweet daughter.

I never knew how much I loved you until I saw you with Annabelle. It’s something about the gentle way you hold her and kiss her little head. She thinks the world of you too, you know. When you walk into the room, she lights up so brightly. My heart grows a little more every time I see you two together.

Four. You love life.

You are one of the few people I know who wants to experience everything. You always know how to soak up a moment and squeeze out every memory possible. You never let a great time pass you by and I envy you for that (in a good way of course). You teach me how to appreciate the little things in life and I thank you for that.

Five. You make me feel special…in some type of way. Haha…

The day you stop teasing me would be oh-so-sad. I may act like I hate it, but when you give me a hard time, I secretly love every second that you spend getting me worked up.
