fix a pillowcase that won’t stay on the pillow

So i bought these pillowcases awhile ago….and don’t ask why…but they refuse to stay on the pillow…

and it drives beyond bonkers! I’ve never had a pillowcase act like this. but it must feel like it needs to keep up with my kids and act defiant!

(not an exaggeration….this is literally how we find them every morning…

and since i still don’ t know what i’m doing with my bedroom… i can’t buy new pillowcases just yet!

so i came up with a quick easy fix!!!

bought these two wooden buttons…(for a whole other purpose….but since i can’t even remember why i bought them they got to go on a pillow instead!)

and then just add a buttonhole! most machines have a buttonhole foot and it just whips it out for you!

(i won’t pretend i know how to do buttonholes like a pro! i still have to get out my manual to remember what settings it has to be on!)

AND did you know that if you lost your manual that you can google it and download it for free or to buy a physical copy! so no excuses!!!

then i just sewed a button on the other side…

well looky here…it stays put! and keeps me sane!

and cause it needs to be said: buttons are chocking hazards…don’t put these on kids pillows.
