Thanks for tuning in to another edition of my 52 books in 52 weeks challenge. I'm tracking my progress on Goodreads, an awesome website that you should definitely check out, and maybe start your own reading challenge!

I've been on a bit of a blog-turned-book kick lately, and overall it's been a good little trend. I've been trying to include some more non-fiction in my reading challenge this year, and so far these bloggy-style books have been easy, enjoyable reads. I think after reading 'Carry On Warrior', I'm convinced I need to explore a new genre for a while. It's all starting to blend.
I really just couldn't track with the author… like at all. The chapters (taken from blog posts… maybe?) didn't have any sort of flow or conceivable timeline. The writing style was everyday and pretty bland, and the tone was so extremely everywoman that it crossed the line over into pretentious. This is a personal note, but I also really didn't agree with her worldview on a number of spiritual and lifestyle matters, so it got a little old for me very quickly. Not my favorite, by any means.
