I’m Officially a Blogger!

As I’m sitting here writing my very first post on my very own blog, I’m reminded that it was exactly one year ago that I was preparing myself to be “The Bachelorette”. In so many ways I can’t believe it’s been a year because it’s gone by so quickly, but on the flip side so much has happened that it seems like a lifetime ago. One thing is for sure though, I had the absolute time of my life and will forever be grateful for all of the wonderful memories and every single person that was a part of it!

Now it’s time for me to start the next exciting venture in my life! No, I probably won’t be serenaded by Dolly Parton, jump off cliffs in Bermuda, or have the London Eye shut down for a date ever again but thats okay. I’m loving my life as a single mom in Charlotte more than ever and I can’t wait for the next chapter of my life! I can’t even begin to say how much your support has meant to me over the past couple of years and I’ve loved getting to know some of you through Twitter and Facebook. And now this is going to be my chance to begin to give back to you all what you’ve given to me. I’m going to be writing about anything and everything that pops into my brain. Yikes. There’s even an “Ask Emily” section where you can write me your questions about anything: fashion, beauty, faith, dating, family, parenting, WHATEVER! I’ll try to get back to as many of you as I can through this blog and while I can’t promise to always have the right answers, I do promise to always be honest and tell you the same thing I’d tell my very best friend!
