It was just the right weather today for ankle boots and optional jacket depending on if I was in the sun or shade. Nadia was back in Melbourne so we met for a late breakfast before her flight back to Sydney. No purchases were made this time (a rarity during her visits) – a relief to both of our bank accounts.

This was the first outing for both my Rick Owens Lilies jacket and Officine Creative boots. The only size of the boots left on sale, I took a chance ordering one size larger than my usual. Most of the time it isn’t so bad, having some extra room inside boots isn’t too much of a big deal. But in this case the size difference feels substantial (maybe because they are flat) and so they feel slightly awkward to walk in. I hope a pair of innersoles will fix the problem.
