Handmade Reindeer Ornaments

Years ago when I was teaching second grade we made these tiny reindeer ornaments for the kiddos to give as a gift. I made a bunch for myself and they are one of my favorite things to pull out each year.
Start with a few pinecones and snip the pieces off. You need three pieces per reindeer. Reach the scissors in as far as you can ang give it a snip.
Hot glue two pieces together for the antlers and then glue the face piece on top of that.
Paint the eyes with a small dab if white paint. Let that dry, then add the black. Use a little red paint for a shiny red nose. Then add a ribbon tied in a little bow.
To hang them, I used some jewelry wire and twisted it into a loop and hot glued it to the back of the reindeer. (Note: if you are going to take pictures of your hands, consider a manicure. Or at least some lotion!)

I have about 20 of these hanging on a small lit tree in the playroom and they are adorable!
A small set of these also makes a great gift!
Have a great day! Hope you get to make something pretty!
