MBFWB 2014 - Day 1 Impressions

Ein Jahr lang habe ich mich darauf gefreut - die Berlin Fashion Week - und zack ist sie auch schon wieder vorbei. "Week" ist auch einfach total übertrieben. "Fashion for four days" - klingt scheiße, würde aber besser passen. Kaputt bin ich aber trotzdem, und vor allem meine Füße sind am glühen vom ganzen Hin und Her. Es waren insgesamt aber wirklich schöne vier Tage, auch wenn sie so schnell vorbei gingen. Heute möchte ich ein bisschen vom ersten Tag erzählen und euch ein paar Eindrücke vom neuen Fashionzelt/stadion zeigen. Denn wie einige von euch mitbekommen haben, wurde das traditionelle Fashionzelt dieses Jahr nicht vor dem Brandenburger Tor aufgebaut, sondern die Eissporthalle im Stadtteil Wedding musste als Location herhalten. Fashion hat also klar gegen Fußball verloren und musste Platz für die Fanmeile machen. Insgesamt wurde die Eissporthalle echt ordentlich aufgehübscht. Neben den ziemlich ranzigen Toiletten, die natürlich auch im oldschool Eissporthallenstil waren, hat mich eine Sache am neuen "Fashionzelt" ganz besonders gestört - Der Laufsteg. Dieser war nämlich auf gleicher Höhe wie die Front Row und die hinteren Reihen waren kaum höher angesetzt, was bedeutete dass nicht nur die Sicht extrem eingeschränkt war, sondern, viel wichtiger, man konnte keine gescheiten Fotos machen ohne tausend Köpfe im Bild zu haben. Deshalb ist mein Bildmaterial dieses Mal auch nicht so super, was mich richtig sauer macht... Ab dem zweiten Tag jedoch habe ich ein paar Wege gefunden wie ich doch recht ordentliche Fotos schießen kann. Ansonsten war alles so wie immer - jede Menge stylische, schöne Leute. Jede Menge "Ey, das ist doch der/die von dieser RTL-Sendung"-Promis, 'ne Menge Pressemenschen und natürlich viele bekannte Bloggergesichter. Am ersten Tag standen zwei Shows für mich auf dem Plan. Rebekka Ruétz und C'est tout - Ce'nou. Letzteres ist eine neue Kooperation zwischen der französishen Marke C'est tout und Eva Padberg, deren Kollektion auf ebay (hier) zu wirklich erschwinglichen Preisen zu kaufen ist. Mir haben vor allem die langen Strickcardigans gefallen, jedoch gibt's die irgendwie nicht mehr leider. Ach und ich muss mich eigentlich für dieses Foto von mir entschuldigen. Kurz vor dem Bild wurde ich so richtig vom Unwetter erwischt und sah auch dementsprechend fertig aus. Aber trotzdem wollte ich euch zeigen was ich so getragen habe. Von den anderen Outfits habe ich aber bessere Bilder :)
-EN- Been waiting for it a whole year - Berlin FashionWeek - and now it has passed so fast. Why do they call it a "week" when its actually only 4 days? Well, that does not mean that I'm not exhausted, indeed my feet are burning from all the walking. So today I just want to tell you a little bit about the first day and give you some impressions about the new location. So instead of the traditional fashion tent in front of the Brandenburg Gate, the event took place in a sports stadion. The new location was nice, they really made the best out of it, but still there was one big point of criticism apart from the quite messy toilets. The seats in the runway hall were almost all on one level, meaning that you had a really bad view if you werent sitting in the first row and accordingly taking photos without having plenty of heads in your picture was quite difficult. That really annoyed me, but from day two on I found some ways to take "okay" photos. But in general, everything was really nice and as usual. You see many freaky, stylish people, some so called "celebrities" and of course loads of press and lovely bloggers. I really liked the collection by C'est tout in collaboration with Eva Padberg - C'est tout / Ce'nou. And even better, you can buy their stuff on ebay for a really affordable price! Oh and I am sorry for the messy picture of myself. Right before it, I got into a huge storm and my clothes and hair got so wet. But for the next days, I have better pictures! :)
