EUSKADI ROADTRIP. FISRT STOP SAN SEBASTIAN

Empezamos nuestro viaje en coche por el País Vasco en San Sebastian. Llegamos por la tarde y hacía un día totalmente despejado. Estaba preciosa la playa de la concha cuando entramos con el coche. Cuando dejamos las cosas fuimos a dar una vuelta y vimos atardecer en el Kursaal mientras tomábamos un helado. Por cierto hemos alucinado con la heladería Boulevard, los helados son tan buenos como los que tomaba en Italia.
Tuvimos un percance ese día con el coche al meternos por una calle sin salida y en cuesta. Estuvimos como dos horas para intentar sacarlo pero no había sitio para hacer maniobras, no funcionaba el freno de mano, las ruedas derrapaban con la pendiente....un desastre. Menos mal que un vecino de la zona nos ayudó y pudimos salir. Por lo visto estaban acostumbrados a que los turistas se quedaras atascados en esa calle...madre mía.
Esta la primera de nuestras paradas, una tarde y un día en San Sebastian. Nos queda ver toda la costa hasta llegar a Bilbao. Estamos teniendo mucha suerte con el tiempo y estamos disfrutando de unos paisajes alucinantes que ya os enseñaré.
We started our roadtrip through the Basque Country in San Sebastian . We arrived in the afternoon and the day was totally clear. The beach was beautiful when we arrived with the car. When we left things in the hotel we went for a walk and we saw the sunset while eating an ice-cream at the Kursaal .BTW we found an amazing ice-cream store, Boulevard, it was as good as the ones in Italy.
We had a mishap with the car that day when we get into a sloping and non exit street . We were like two hours trying to get out the car but there was no space for maneuver, the handbrake didn't work, the wheels skidded with the slope .... a disaster. Luckily a neighbor in the area helped us out. Apparently there were some tourists that get stuck on that street ... oh boy.
This the first of our stops, an evening and a day in San Sebastian . We have to see the whole coast to Bilbao. We are having so much luck with the weather and we are enjoying the amazing landscape..
