AFTER THE RAIN

Salí de casa en el momento de más tormenta. Mi hermana y yo corrimos hasta el coche, que el día anterior parecía estar cerca pero el diluvio lo había alejado de nosotras. Daba igual ir debajo de un paraguas gigante o llevar botas, llovía tan fuerte que acabamos mojadas igualmente. Camino de Matadero la gente por la calle corría y el tráfico, como cualquier día que llueve en Madrid, era un caos absoluto. Cuando conseguimos llegar parecía que salía el sol, pero seguía lloviendo. Estuvimos viendo la central de diseño (os contaré todos los detalles en el blog de AltamiraInmuebles la semana que viene). Entrar en Matadero es como transportarse, todo es oscuro, desgastado, es una atmósfera diferente...apenas hay luz natural y parece que el día de repente es oscuro. Al salir había parado la lluvia, hacía un día precioso y parecía mentira que hubiese llovido tanto unos minutos antes. La nave 8 hizo las veces de túnel del tiempo, en el que entramos un día y salimos otro :). Fue una tarde muy bonita.
I left home when the storm was bigger. My sister and I ran to the car, that the previous day seemed to be so closer but the rain had put it away from us. No matter to be under a giant umbrella or to wear boots, it rained so hard we just got equally wet. On our way to Matadero people ran down the street and traffic, as any rainy day Madrid, it was an absolute chaos. When we parked it seemed the sun was camming out, but was still raining.
Going into Matadero is like being transported, everything is dark and worn, it's a different atmosphere... there's almost no natural light and the day suddenly turns dark. When we came out again the rain had stopped, it was a lovely day and it was incredible that it was raining that hard a few minutes before. The 8 ship acted as a time tunnel, we walked in one day and walked out another :). It was a beautiful evening.
