Ella and Rhoslyn

Hello, welcome to the blog today. Hubby and I were babysitting our little granddaughter last night. I swear I have never met a more giggly baby or seen a bigger smile. She does my heart good and boy can she move! She's like a rocket, you need to be on your toes to keep her in view! LOL She is a total joy and a real blessing to our family. :)
Right, onto today's cards. I've a few to share today featuring the dainty little Fae Ella and Rhoslyn sitting in her flowery bower.

Tonic - Celtic Dreams large circle dies Rococo Petites - Fae Ella and Star trail Amelia Embossing folder Nuvo Pure Sheen diamond and lilac glitters Sentiment - Crafter's Companion
I die cut the fairy after covering the card stock with double sided sticky paper - Stick It from Ken Oliver. To get the portions of the die cut glittered in the colour I wanted I carefully pared away the paper from those areas using a craft knife and applied the glitter. I then removed the rest of the release paper and used the second colour glitter. It worked really well and she is really twinkling.

I die cut the third size circle from the Celtic Dreams die set and embossed it with the Amelia embossing folder. I then cut this in half and used it to back the card as well as on the front to give it stability and help it stand up.
My second card is a Shadow box card

Tonic Reach for the Stars Frame sentiment die set Rococo Petite - Fae Ella, Fairy Wand Luna Boudoir Square Vine border punch
I added a strip of acetate inside the card to suspend the fairy so that she looks as though she's flying through the air.
My third card has Fae Ella suspended from a strip of acetate to give movement and interest.

Tonic - Header die from the Celebration set Believe/Love Frames Topper die set - flowers, frame, leaves Crystal drops - Buttermilk

I've used the header die cut into the card to give the background mat for a change. Ella is suspended on a strip of acetate and the flowers and leaves give the feel of a little bit of garden where Rhoslyn loves to sit and contemplate.
I hope you find some inspiration in these cards today.
Thank you for joining me. Have a great day!
