I don't really post that many
OOTDs (AKA Outfit of the Days) here on The Beauty of Life. In fact, I've posted exactly 11 before today. (They're all
here, in case you're curious.) But I simply had to post this one, because ... well ... I really love everything about the photo and the outfit.
This was one of those outfits that almost put itself together. I started with the hat, which is the
Glory Hats by Goorin Francis Fratelli Fedora. I just got it, and I really wanted to showcase it in a fun, boho meets hippie meets tough girl kind of way. And from there, the rest of the look just fell into place. I picked two pieces by
Free People (the coat is my new obsession -- seriously, when I tried it on at
Nordstrom, I couldn't stop admiring myself in it), added a pair of
Warby Parker sunglasses and my trusted
Hue leggings and finished things off with studded sneaker wedges.
Here's what I wore:
Glory Hats by Goorin Francis Fratelli Fedora, $44.95 at
ae.com Free People Slouchy Boyfriend Jacket, $168 at
freepeople.com Free People We The Free You So Fancy Tee, $68 at
freepeople.com (full disclosure: I have this top in 4 colors and I don't think I'm stopping anytime soon!)
Hue Cotton Leggings, $28 at
hue.com Warby Parker Reilly Sunglasses in Marzipan Tortoise, $150 at
warbyparker.com ($95 if you don't need a prescription)
Foley & Corinna Mid City Tote, $395 in multiple colors at
foleyandcorinna.com (I got mine for $99 on
RueLaLa though!)
Steve Madden studded sneaker wedges (no longer available)
On lips:
Givenchy Interdit Ultra-Shiny Color Plumping Lipgloss in Capricious Pink ($30 at
sephora.com)
Oh, and I'm blonde now. More to come on that later.
Have you had an OOTD worth snapping recently? Tell me about it in the comments!
