One thing's for certain. Blogger Christina-Lauren Pollack of Inspirations & Celebrations is well versed in all things lifestyle -- fashion, beauty, entertaining, you name it! I love reading her blog to find out her opinions of the latest and greatest products, of course, but also to get tips on entertaining, fashion trends and more. Can you tell me a bit about yourself?
I was born and raised in the beautiful, coastal community of the Monterey Peninsula in Northern California. Although my professional background (I help manage my family's global balloon and party supply manufacturing/wholesale company) and education (BBA Degree from Golden Gate University) has been primarily based on business, I've always enjoyed creative projects, which ultimately led to blogging/writing.
What led you to create your own blog?
For several years, I was involved with community service projects (co-chairing a fundraiser for the Junior League of Monterey County and serving as the President of the Monterey County Young Professionals Group). A few months after taking a break from these commitments, I felt compelled to initiate a new, exciting project. In October 2011, I started thinking about my interests (fashion, beauty, health, home decorating, entertaining, etc.), and had a desire to do something that combined these passions. In addition, I've spent years reading about a range of topics (makeup techniques, skincare treatments, fashion and style, interior design, etc.), and have always enjoyed sharing helpful information and advice with others.
That's how the concept for my lifestyle blog, Inspirations & Celebrations (also known as "The Lifestyle Guide To Being Fabulous"), came about. The mission of my upbeat, contemporary lifestyle blog is to empower and educate women about the many ways they can look and feel fabulous everyday.
I love the name of your blog! How did you come up with it?
Since the vision for my lifestyle blog has always been to "Inspire Style and Celebrate Life," that's how the blog's name Inspirations & Celebrations was created. The blog serves as a daily source of inspiration and information for my readers, offering them beauty techniques and tips, fashion and style guides, DIY tutorials and more.

What are your top 3 beauty tips?
1) Before putting on face makeup, start by applying a skin-perfecting makeup primer. This helps minimize the look of pores and fine lines, while increasing the longevity of your makeup throughout the day.
2) To quickly create the illusion of fuller lips, use a lip-plumping product before applying any lip color.
3) For thicker, longer eyelashes (without applying falsies), opt for a lash-thickening mascara system. This type of product helps pump up the look of your eyelashes by adhering flexible cotton or nylon fibers to your eyelashes (prior to applying mascara).
Being a blogger must be fun, but what do you do in your spare time?
In addition to running my blog, I'm a contributing writer for The Los Angeles Fashion Magazine, Carmel Magazine and HuffingtonPost. I'm also an eHow.com Style Presenter (appearing in style how-to videos) and a Glambassador for Glamour Magazine. As you can tell, I love to stay active!
