Princesses on the runway, on the big screen… How can one not become a little influenced by all this regal glam? One can say alot about monarchy but I for one know my closet always feels a little dreamier with a frilly applique frock in it… Perhaps it’s just a way to make the work week feel a little more extravagant. Either way, Peter Som and Thakoon among others are cheering for you to bring out your inner highness this Spring, and I’m thinking: why not - a little (corset-free) A-line never hurt anybody? But then again, I’m the person that named this blog Lolita some 8 years ago so I’m not your ideal judge. Nevermind, after a Swedish winter of dark evenings and even darker coats I’ll swap in my whole closet for a chiffon-shouldered Derek-lam piece. I’ll just keep one or two black dresses just in case. Or three..
