I don’t have a Bookmark Dump to share today so I thought I’d share about what’s been going on around here lately.

Our realtor put up a website to promote our house for sale with pics AND music! We are having our open house this Sunday and our realtor said there are already 3 people who are interested in the house! The market is in our favor in that there aren’t really too many houses on the market around here. Plus we are in a great school district so we’re hoping to get an offer on Sunday.

I am trying to learn how to knit. It’s so hard holding 2 needles! I’m a righty so holding anything in my left hand just throws me off. I can’t even use chopsticks so this is going to be hard.

It’s looking like we are going to be moving forward with IVF. We go in for our consult on Monday but are doing one last medicated IUI this cycle in the meantime. So that’s basically all I ever think about. I’m feeling more optimistic about it since the success rate is much higher. And the positive emotions are a relief because for a while I was really angry and refusing to even consider it. But like most things I start out hating, it grew on me and I have accepted it. I’m still scared to death of the egg retrieval and general anesthesia though. But what I do feel good about is it’s an outpatient procedure and it’s all done in the clinic, not an operating room like the horrible painful hysteropscopy I had in the beginning. Besides, it looks like there’s 3 couples we know who’ve had to do IVF and I had no idea until this week. It’s so much more common than you’d think.

The rain has been seriously insane lately! The city was flooded up to 4 feet in places and trees went down causing detours all over but at least is was warm out!

Here’s what I made in April:

We are planning our first house hunting trip in Colorado this month. I can’t see this being an easy process since the houses we like online get sold in a matter of days and being over 2,000 miles away its impossible to use timeliness in our favor to snag one we want. I’m not really sure how we’re going to go about this other than random luck.
