New living room rug

I hope you all had a wonderfully fun Halloween! We had a lot of fun watching our little superheros collect candy and save the day!
I love this time of year! There are so many things to be excited about. My little man will be turning 2 in a couple of weeks, and I am planning a tractor themed party for him. The boy is obsessed with tractors!
I'm also looking forward to Christmas decorating! I know it's still way early, but as soon as Halloween is over I start marking the days on the calendar until after Thanksgiving when we can finally put up our tree! Most years I don't make it until then and the tree goes up about a week before Thanksgiving. I'm really going to try to hold off this year though. We will see.
Anyway, back to the purpose of this post which is to share my recent purchase, our new rug.

I was browsing Overstock.com and ran across this beauty marked down to only $99!
A great price for a rug of that size. Now I have to say it's probably not the highest quality rug, but I love the design of it and it is super soft to walk on. I switch rugs around all the time, so I'm not really into spending a fortune on them, since I tire of them quickly and am ready for a change sooner rather than later most of the time.

In the above photo you can see the texture of the rug, but the color isn't accurate. The color looks a little washed out here, it's actually darker looking in person.

It's still a little bumpy looking because I just got it the other day and plopped it right on the floor and started taking pictures. Hopefully in another week or so it will lay down flat.
Here is a view that I'm not sure if I've ever shared before on here. That doorway leads to our little dining area in our kitchen.

I brought in a few different throw pillows from other rooms in the house for the couch. I have a house full of throw pillows. I try to make sure the ones I buy are cohesive with the entire house so I can switch them from room to room for a fresh look without spending any money.

What do you think?
If you are interested in the rug, here is the link to Overstock where I purchased it.
Have a BLESSED day! Leah
