New Nutrition Labels

Are you ready for the new change in nutrition labels? This week, the Obama administration announced it’s proposed plans to change the label that we see on all foods. The changes would not be drastic but would include making the calorie counts larger, the serving size more accurate to what people usually eat (1 serving in a 20oz pop instead of 2), and the added sugar separate from the natural sugar.

What are your thoughts on this?

I think it’s great to have a more realistic approach. Why not make it easier to read and see what you are putting in your body? The more people understand, hopefully the better choices they will make!
