Nashville Sounds Host Bark in the Park August 10th

Going to bat for the sake of our tail-wagging chums in need, the Nashville Sounds invite baseball fans to take their sports-loving Spot out to the old ball game on August 10th as they host Bark in the Park during their final season at Greer Stadium.

Before the game Fidos and members of their human family can promenade around the playing field in a Puppy Parade, then cheer on the home team as they face the Round Rock Express. Helping to pitch the option of pet adoption, Teddy’s Wagon– the Nashville Humane Association’s mobile adoption unit– will feature adorable adoptables who would love to play ball with a forever pet parent.

A minor league team with major love for our furry friends, all of the proceeds from dog tickets sold for The Nashville Sounds’ Bark in the Park event will benefit the Nashville Humane Association, which helps more than 3,300 companion animals find forever homes each year.

Note: Bowls of water will be provided for dogs. All dogs must be well-behaved and remain on a leash while inside the stadium.

Tickets: $10 for two-legged attendees if purchased early, $15 on the day of the game; $3 for a dog ticket

When: August 10, 2014

Where: Herschell Greer Stadium at 534 Chestnut Street in Nashville, Tennessee
