Taking place on November 2nd at The Hollywood Improv, the actress will take the stage to welcome comics who are helping to set the stage for a better tomorrow for dogs who often find themselves hounded by prejudice. The stars scheduled to make people giggle for a good cause are: Whitney Cummings (Whitney; co-creator of the popular CBS series Two Broke Girls) and founder of the Stand Up for Pits Foundation/One Million Pibble March creator Rebecca Corry, with a musical performance by Briana Cuoco (former contestant on The Voice) and an appearance by a special mystery guest.
Along with rib-tickling routines and toe-tapping tunes, the jest fest will also include adorable adoptables from Downtown Dog Rescue and Orange County Pit Bull Rescue; a silent auction; red carpet arrivals; a Pittie kissing booth and a shelter donation drive for new or gently used dog toys, blankets, beds and other dog-related items for Rovers residing at LA County Department of Animal Care & Control in Lancaster and the South LA animal shelter.
Tickets to the comedy event are coveted, with the fundraiser’s 7 o’clock show already sold out.
