Lucky Dog Star to Host OC Race for the Rescues


As the star of the CBS Saturday morning series Lucky Dog he helps hard to adopt shelter pets get on the right track toward finding forever families, and as the host of the upcoming Race for the Rescues Orange County celebrity animal trainer Brandon McMillan will cheer on participants as they help to put homeless animals on the road to a better tomorrow by taking strides toward the finish line.

Taking place on November 16th at The Oak Canyon Park in Silverado, California, the event will include:

A 5K, 10K, 1K dog walk and 1K Kids Fun Run
Pet psychics
DJ dance
Silent auction
Food trucks
Face painting
Pet-related vendors and products
Giveaways
The Rockin’ Pet Adoption Show featuring adorable adoptables from area rescue organizations

Presented by the no-kill, non-profit organization The Rescue Train,the second annual Race for the Rescues Orange County will benefit 4Life Animal Rescue, California GSP Rescue, Coastal German Shepherd Rescue, Ghetto Rescue FFoundation, Greendog Foundation, Hanaeleh, K9 Spirit Organization, Laughing Pony Rescue, MeowzResQ, Noble Friends Foundation for OC Animal Care, Orange County Cavy Haven, Orange County Pitbull Rescue, Pacific Marine Mammal Center, Second Chance Pet Adoptions, Sherri’s Project: Wounded Warrior Pack, Southern California Bulldog Rescue, The Little Red Dog, Inc., The Rescue Train and TROTT.

Admission: Pet expo and adoption fair free. There is a registration fee for taking part in the race.
