Road to The Puppy Bowl at East Bay SPCA

Tackling the problem of pet homelessness, Animal Planet is teaming up with East Bay SPCA for an adoption event starring canine and kitty quarterbacks who are hoping that they will be picked to play on a forever family’s home team.

Fans of Fidos and felines will huddle at the Oakland, California adoption center on Veterans Day (November 11th) for Road to the Puppy Bowl, an afternoon of dogged devotion which will include appearances by special guests, including members of the Oakland Raiders and the referee who will preside over the pint-sized playing field during Puppy Bowl XI (airing on Animal Planet February 1, 2015); photo ops; giveaways and the chance for potential pet parents to meet a line up of adorable, adoptable puppies, kittens, cats and dogs.

Thanks to Animal Planet, the adoption fees of select companion animals will be waived for screened adopters on a first come, first served basis.
