The ‘Multiple Repurchase’ Products

I had a brainwave yesterday that the best way to convey which products are fail safe in my huge arsenal of beautifying potions would be to list the ones which have been repurchased numerous times. Nothing says devotion like a repurchase, right? I won’t ramble on too much about each product, rather concentrating on the reasons why I love it so much and why it has been bought multiple times.

Soap & Glory Heel Genius – If, like me, you are a fan of the old high heel or two then this is a must have for your weekly at-home pedicure treatment. I don’t want to enter TMI territory here but if you’re partial to high heels, chances are your feet need regular sloughing. Once you have used a foot file, this is the perfect intensive moisturiser for your tootsies to hydrate, smooth and refresh. All at a very affordable price too!

Clarins Liquid Bronze Self Tanning – This is my all-time favourite self tanner for the face, predominantly because it gives the most natural, streak-free golden glow. It gives the kind of colour that doesn’t look like a fake tan, rather just enhancing your complexion and making you look super healthy in the process. It has moisturising properties, sinks in almost immediately, is colourless and a little goes a long way. What more could you want?

Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask – I have prattled on about this product many times before and for good reason. It single-handedly saved my dehydrated skin during the early stages of my pregnancy. I had stubborn dry skin around my nose and mouth that just wouldn’t budge. Two consecutive nights of this mask and my skin was baby soft again. A true miracle worker!

Oxy Emergency Spot Treatment Gel – I get the odd bout of hormonal blemishes (who doesn’t?) and this affordable little tube of wonder dried those suckers out before they had a chance to ruin my day! This gel manages to dry out a spot without drying out the whole area of skin surrounding it. It takes away the red angriness of the spot and makes it a hell of a lot easier to hide with concealer. Most spots treated with this disappear within a couple of days.

Soap & Glory The Ultimelt Hot Cloth Cleanser – This is the stuff dreams are made of. For years I had used the Liz Earle hot cloth cleanser but this completely exceeded my expectations and I’m in no doubt that it out-performs the Liz Earle version by a mile. The concoction of essential oils deeply hydrates and purifies skin to make sure your face stays intensively moisturised and spot-free. I just finished my first tube after suing it every single night so I picked up two more in a recent Boots haul. I can see myself ever switching to another hot cloth cleanser now! It’s currently been discounted to £6.67 (RRP £10) in Boots so get yours now!

Lee Stafford ‘For Hair That Never Grows Past A Certain Length’ Treatment – The name is a mouthful but this product has been repurchased more times than I can remember. I started using it about 3 years ago to aid the hair growing phase I was going through. It definitely helps to keep your hair in tip top condition, creating the best scalp environment for maximum hair growth. However the reason why I love this treatment so much is because it combines an effect of silky smooth hair without any frizz or static in sight. Your hair becomes the best version of itself.

Sleek Makeup Face Contour Kit – As I mentioned in my March Favourites video recently, I had been procrastinating about picking up the Kevin Aucoin Sculpting powder. However, I just couldn’t force myself to spend £35 on a product when I had an absolutely perfect contouring product already, one that cost considerably less too. I use the Light shade which is a cool toned matte contour powder. It defines my cheekbones in a natural way and I’m currently on my third one!

Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector – This is pretty much the perfect lip product in that it combines the moisturising properties of a balm with the sheer pretty colour of a lipgloss. It’s not sticky or gloopy and doesn’t contain shimmer as such. It does exactly what it says on the tin and I always have one handy in my handbag for that understated groomed look. It’s the perfect lip product to finish off a ‘no makeup’ look.

Nars Sheer Glow Foundation – I have repurchased this foundation three times and there’s something that always brings me back to it. Despite the name, it’s actually a medium coverage foundation and it has the most beautiful finish that settles somewhere between satin and dewy. It never makes my skin look greasy or oily and my preferred application method is currently to mix it with the Nars Illuminator in Copacabana. These two products combined equal the dream finish! Most of the shades are yellow toned which I have found works wonders on the redness in my complexion and brightens my overall skin tone.

Rodial Glam Balm Lip – I, like every other blogger, fell in love with By Terry Baume De Rose but the price tag did make me baulk slightly (around £35). It’s difficult to justify paying that kind of money for a lip balm so I went on the hunt for a cheaper alternative that had all the same restorative properties. It was a close call between this and the Aerin Rose Lip Conditioner but this one just pips it to the post for it’s consistency. This lip balm is ultra hydrating, comes in an easy-to-apply tube and can repair your lips overnight. They recently changed the packaging from a tub to this tube which was a great call. No one really likes dipping their fingers into a product, getting it under their nails and tussling with the thought that it could turn into a bacteria breeding ground.

Benefit Coralista – I don’t know anyone who doesn’t like this blush. It seems to have a universal appeal and it’s peachy-coral tone with highlighting properties appears to suit most skin tones. It’s my go-to blush that goes with any makeup look I may have planned. It gives my cheeks a healthy glow without making them look too shimmery. It also seems to suit my skin tone whether I am on the paler side but also on the more tanned side. I will always have this blush in my collection!

Estee Lauder Double Wear Light Foundation – For years I had been an unwavering fan of the original Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation. However over time I began to feel more confident about my skin and felt that I didn’t need quite as much coverage. I began to realise that the original formula made my skin look quite flat and had become more of a mask. I wanted a foundation that felt lighter and more breathable but with the same lasting power and flawless finish. Enter Double Wear Light. It’s a medium coverage foundation that gives a much more natural finish to the skin, it’s a thinner consistency which makes it easier to apply and it lasts incredible well. This is my fourth tube of the stuff!

Benefit High Beam – I have been a fan of this product for longer than I can remember. It remains my favourite liquid highlighter because it has such a pretty iridescent pink finish that’s perfect for that soft dewy look. The packaging is spot on with a brush to apply it and the price point isn’t too bad considering how long it lasts for. I love to apply it on my cheekbones, down the centre of my nose, on my cupid’s bow and inner corners of my eyes. I have bought countless bottles of High Beam over the years!

Bourjois Volumizer Mascara – No matter which mascaras I experiment with, I seem to always come back to this one. I have purchased 5 of these bad boys so far and I just love how versatile it is. You can take it on trips away or holidays and you have the choice of super natural lashes or full on volume. The double brush concept is genius and the formulation is spot on with no flaking or smudging. The smaller brush is perfect for applying mascara to the lower lashes too with minimal mess.

Estee Lauder Double Wear Maximum Cover Camouflage Makeup – This is my favourite concealing product OF ALL TIME. Nothing compares to this with regard to covering up dark circles and really bad blemishes. I would never use it as a foundation as it’s full coverage and too heavy for me but this makes for an incredible concealer. I apply it with a fluffy brush and it’s definitely the product that helps me achieve the flawless look. You can also add a drop of it to lighter coverage foundations or BB cremes to up the ante.

Bobbi Brown Corrector – I have tried many many under eye concealers but nothing else compares to this product when I wake up with early bad under eye circles. I am yet to discover a colour correction concealer than can match up to the flawless coverage of this one. It has a peachy tone which cancels out any bluish/purple areas under the eyes and I always apply it before using a light reflecting concealer product over the top. This product is unmatched and I’ve bought it a total of 12 times now! Testament to it’s brilliance.

Millie Mackintosh for Nouveau Lashes ‘City’ – These are the perfect lashes for when you want to fool people into thinking you have naturally thick, luscious eyelashes! They are virtually undetectable once applied and great for those who don’t want an obvious look. They each come with mini tweezers and a good quality tube of glue. The City lashes are really easy to apply with a flexible lash band that blends in beautifully with your natural lash line. I tend to buy these in bulk and have bought about 25 boxes to date!

Let me know which products you always repurchase and why?
