What I Wore: Makeup Edit

I had a few emails and Facebook messages asking me to do a post on my makeup I was wearing in my latest video which you can watch

here. It was a really simple, summery look with glowing skin, really quick and easy bronzed eyes and a orange/coral lip. Mac Woodwinked eyeshadow has pretty much been my go-to summer shade so far – it’s one of those wonderful shades that can be applied all over the lid and blended out without looking flat or boring. It is multi-tonal and has this magic way of changing colour in the light – when you blend it out, all the warm tones show through making it appear as if you have three eyeshadows on your eyes as opposed to just one!

Base: Nars Sheer Glow in Fiji mixed with Nars Illuminator in Copacabana, Bobbi Brown Corrector in Light to Medium Bisque to conceal dark circles with Rimmel Match Perfection Iluminating Concealer over the top. Bourjois Healthy Balance Powder to set it all. Bourjois Delice de Poudre bronzing powder. Urban Decay Naked Flushed Palette in Streak (just using the blush). Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick in Apricot ad a highlighter.

Eyes: Urban Decay Sin Primer, Mac Woodwinked eyehshadow all over the lid and blended, also along the lower lash line, Urban Decay Perversion Gel Eyeliner only along top lash line and flicked out, Elf Natural false lashes, used the two lightest shades in the Bobbi Brown Apricot Shimmer Brick in the inner corners of the eyes and along the inside lower lash line. Bourjois Volumizer Mascara on top and bottom lashes.

Lips: A mixture of Estee Lauder Pure Color lipstick in Vanilla Truffle to neutralise the colour of my lips and tone down the Mac Morange lipstick that I patted over the top. This makes the Morange shade more wearable if you want a more subtle look.

I plan on getting back to doing video makeup tutorials and hauls so let me know if you have any requests for anything you’d like me to film?
