IndeedLabs Hydraluron Moisture Jelly

As a sufferer of dry skin, I’m always on the look out for products that will quench my skin, provide hydration and keep it looking soft and smooth. I have really enjoyed using Hydraluron in the past and even more so the Hydraluron sheet masks which leave your skin feeling so plump and nourished. They remain a part of my weekly skincare routine and I highly recommend them if you suffer from dry skin.

You can imagine my excitement when I heard about the launch of the IndeedLabs Hydraluron Moisture Jelly which seemed like the perfect product to be coupled with the others in the line.

“hydraluron™ moisture jelly uses a combination of 5 scientifically proven ingredients to help provide instant and sustained moisture to skin. Suspended in a hyaluronic acid matrix this refreshing jelly features PatcH20™, a micro network complex that helps to lock in moisture leaving skin soft, supple and glowing. Pair with hydraluron™ moisture boosting serum for optimal results. Apply a pea-sized amount of hydraluron™ moisture jelly to cleansed face and neck both AM and PM. Use daily for optimal results. Formulated for all skin types.”

The packaging is something I’ve never seen before. There’s just a flat top on it with a hole in the middle and you compress the whole thing down to deposit some product through the hole. I liked this concept because it’s clean, dispenses just the right amount of gel and it would be good for travelling because there would be no annoying spillages/leaking. The only thing I noticed is that the packaging is a little deceiving in that there appears to be more product than there actually is.

I expected big things of this product, based on my feelings of it’s predecessors and I’m sad to say that it failed to make a solid impression on me. I found that it did moisturise however the light gel texture just didn’t feel substantial enough to really nourish my skin. It’s by no means a bad product but it definitely didn’t produce amazing results on my skin like the sheet mask or serum. I didn’t find that it had that much effect on dry patches of skin that appeared recently so it really is just a product that I could take or leave. I can’t say that it really added much to my usual skincare routine in that I didn’t notice a difference in the condition of my skin. I really wanted to love this but as you all know, I always give honest reviews and this time, I just wasn’t bowled over.
