Grammys hospital blessing

My testimony of prayers answered

I've been in the hospital for 17 days. This story makes me feel blessed.
I can't seem to add pictures but here is my story.

I thought my testimony story was getting the pic line out and probably getting to go home yesterday..... But I have been blessed even more than that.... in another unusual way. I was all set to leave the hospital yesterday....release papers signed, RX was ordered. I felt lousy but I was happy to get out of the hospital. Then my Dr. Wong stopped by. She was worried because my underarm and shoulder still hurt.. They had done an ultrasound that did not show a blood clot so I wasn't worried.
I argued with her. I told her I always hurt since the accident. She speaks with a cute accent. She said I cannot let you go if can't sleep at night. I said I was able to sleep with pain pills ..... She answered no , I mean me sleep nights. Im too worried to let you leave. ( She did the same thing to me last week when I was leaving) Just then she saw a friend vascular surgeon , Dr. Campbell, walk by the door. She ran out to grab him. He was off duty and going home but she talked him into doing a venogram. She later told me that angels sent him to her. She had been praying but no dr in the dept would agree to do a venogram when the ultrasound was negative.
Dr. Campbell admitted to me he was only doing this to pacify Dr. Wong. He said he doubted there would be would be a clot when the ultrasound was negative. Then during the procedure he said " hats off to Dr. Wong" . It turns out I have a very large blood clot from under my arm to the middle of my chest. A very small percent get blood clots from pic lines.... And like all my other complications, I am one of that small percentage.


Dr Wong dropped by last night and said with her cute accent...." See Dr. Wong is never wrong. if I sent you home today, you might die at home....here we take care of you. I pray and God told me to keep you here. Now I can sleep good tonight."

So once again, Dr. Wong saved my life. I was a bit set back and sad last night. Having a large clot near my heart is not fun. It is hard not being able to walk around or use my right arm and I'm sick of being sick but I feel so blessed. My heart is light today. My Dr. Wong was right against the odds and I consider that my miracle. I believe none of this was by chance. I do believe angels sent Dr. Campbell to Dr. Wong. Wong told me she prays and meditates over every patient. I pray for my doctors as well. Your prayers and ours were answered.
