So, the Hoop-La blog tour rolls on, and today I’m saying hei and kiitos (that’ll be 'hello' and 'thank you') to splendid Scandinavian, Kajsa Wikman.
BLOG: Syko
NOTES: If you’ve spent any time at all browsing crafty websites or Pinterest boards, my guess is you’ll recognise Kajsa’s work, even if you haven’t yet discovered her blog. She creates beautiful, bright, stitched pieces, from appliquéd cushions and mini quilts to adorable stuffed houses and brooches. One of the things I admire most about her work though, is the way she manages to translate stitch-based designs so cleverly into other media. Whether it’s prints, postcards or chopping boards, her stitching looks just as striking on paper and wood as it does on fabric.
DON'T MISS: Kajsa has a small but beautiful range of fabrics available to buy from Spoonflower (the apple and fish prints are especially lovely).
