Ahoy-hoy, blog-tourers. There are just two more guests to go before it’s time to pack up the tour bus and hoop off into the sunset. We’re definitely going out in style though, starting today with the super-talented Karen Lewis from Blueberry Park.
BLOG: Blueberry Park
NOTES: Karen’s blog regularly makes me want to stop whatever I’m working on and just make a quilt already. Her beautifully-pieced designs are incredibly inspiring, and she has an amazing eye for combining prints and colours. Those same skills are also evident in the range of fabrics she screen-prints at home, from bold florals in bright shades to gorgeous, neutral geometrics. As well as incorporating the finished prints in her quilts, Karen also uses her stitching superpowers to turn them into purses, pouches, cushions, bags and the most beautiful patchwork lampshades.
DON'T MISS: If, like me, you’re a fan of Karen’s prints, keep an eye out for her bi-monthly fabric club which is due to launch in the new year. (The first rule of fabric club is that it’s totally fine to talk about fabric club . . . )
