Vintage Oregon Wedding

Get your Pinterest buttons ready— today’s wedding is full of swoon-worthy details and adorable moments. Fabulous photographer Megan Love Photography was kind enough to share some background from this beautiful day!

Kristi Matthew’s wedding on June 30th, 2013 was held at the McMenamins Cornelius Pass Roadhouse in the Wedding Garden and Octagonal Barn. Uncommon for Oregon weather during that time, the temperatures that day soared near 100 degrees, with the reception venue not suited for air conditioning. While the conditions outside were less than ideal for a 4:00pm wedding, the couple, along with their friends and family, kept up good attitudes and we took cover in the share for most photo-ops. Halfway through the (sweltering) reception, someone made the call to move the party outside after the sun went down, and the cool air was a welcome relief. The party was revived, the guests were happy, and couple danced into the night with glowsticks and vibrant music. It was a shabby-chic, “Pinterest worthy” vintage affair tying in so many unique details that it perfectly captured the creativity and thoughtfulness of both Kristi and Matthew.
