Krauthammer's Take ➡ Israelis 'Are the Ones with the Moral High Ground'

Last week, Israel accepted the proposal for an Egypt-brokered ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, while Hamas rejected it – it’s that rejection that explains the death and destruction in the region this week, Charles Krauthammer said Monday on Special Report.

“That’s a fact that you can’t refute even though (Palestinian politician Mustafa Barghouti) refuted it and said it never happened,” Krauthammer argued. Barghouti had appeared earlier on the show.

He added that Israel has no motive to start a war with Hamas, and is just responding defensively to Palestinian attacks.
