PENDANTS
Just so everyone is aware, this is not Dani. My name is Zach and I’ve hijacked her blog. Just wanted to give you fair warning so you aren’t disappointed and think, “Wow, this was the worst blog ever.” It very well might be. Maybe, maybe not?
So Dani has been wanting to update some stuff around the house. Ok, she usually always has something in mind and I’m usually ok with 90% of her ideas. “Paint this wall this color and with these shapes?” Ok, I can do that. On occasion she has ideas that most of you would probably love. Me on the other hand, “hmmm, better not.” I think Dani is starting to figure out when I don’t like her idea I make up a lot of excuses; “Oh, you want a pink wall? I think I have church stuff. I need to go to work. I have a soccer game. I have one eye. I broke a rib. Paint fumes will give you a headache.” I can get pretty creative. Are there any I’m missing?
But for this idea, I was totally on board with updating the lighting in our kitchen. She found these sweet pendant lights from Kenroy Home and it seemed like a

Once we figured out where the pendants needed to hang, we got to work tearing out the old can lights, cutting holes where the new lights will go, pulling wire, hanging the new lights, and patching the holes. Sorry for only one picture. I’m not too good at taking pictures while working. This project was super easy. We were able to tie into the existing lights, so we didn’t have to run a ton of wire.
It really changes the whole room for the better.
