HALLOWEEN… A LITTLE LATE!
(At Harmons they have all these masks… Matt was so afraid to put one on for our picture I put on Instagram (here). It got stuck on his head ha, but after he loved to put them on every time he worked!)
I took Matt to school on Halloween and usually he isn’t too game to dress up… Well this year he could not wait to dress up as the HULK!! My mom and I found this hilarious hat that fit Matt’s personality and EYEBROWS at Target (I mean where else!?) for 90% off last year after Halloween… I mean 90% off!? You can’t walk away from a sale like that!! Matt was so excited to be dressed up and he kept growling at people all day. To say that it was funny would be an understatement! He was cracking me up! He would get this deep, growly voice and say “I AM THE HULK!!!!” and then he would do his tough face. People at school kept calling him Frankenstein (which I can see) and it would offend him so badly! It was too funny.
After school we stayed to watch Maddie dance in the pep assembly because Fremont Football made it to the state playoffs. To say I can remember the last time that happened… Oh wait that would be a million years ago when I was a sophomore! It has been forever. They haven’t been good at football for quite sometime now… We watched Maddie dance in the assembly and then we went to the game. Matt loved watching the game and sweet Maddie came and talked to him and chatted with him both before she dance and after. Matt was on cloud 9! He loved it! Football games are hard to get him to. There is no handicapped seating in the bleachers so we end up sitting on camp chairs on the track. I swear I feel like I am in a fish bowl the entire time! I never care about the game… But the people watching has its A game on! So entertaining!!
After the game we went to my parents and had dinner in a pumpkin again. You can find the recipe for dinner in a pumpkin that I share a few days ago. Matt loves to answer the door so he would stare at the door and think people were walking up to it every 5 seconds and drive as fast as he could only to be disappointed that no one was there. He would drive back to the kitchen and say “try again in a minute…”. He is such a sweet boy. He loves to see all the kids dressed up in their costumes. Zach and I were lame after that and headed home and I was in bed by 9:15. I was SO tired! I swear this sweet baby is taking all my energy!
I can’t wait to have our own little one to dress up next year! We can’t wait for baby K to come! I am 33 weeks today! (I promise a bump update will be coming in the next couple days). Only 49 days until we get to meet our little guy! Our carseat and stroller came this past week and Zach laughs at me that all I want to do is play with it… I may or may not have even thought about taking it for a stroll around the block…
