Like a Rolling Stone.

Last week was my birthday and i decided to have a bit of a celebration. With the usual 70´s vibe that chases me everywhere and walls covered in music known as poetry for the ears, i threw a little party for family and friends. glasses of beer, whiskey, white and red wine mingled on the floor while guitar strings flirted with wild and a bit out of tune chorus (don´t blame us, blame it on our cheerful drunk hearts). There were grilled cheese sandwiches, colorful omelettes, caesar salad, pizza for dinner
and of course, pink champagne and dark chocolate cake for dessert. At some point, i blew my candles, confetti came along and vinyls joined the party. I remember we went out after midnight. The smell of cigars, scented candles and cinnamon incense made me a little bit dizzy.
The music faded in the background, under its spell we relaxed facing the sky with “confetti drinks” in our hands. “What if-s” dashed and divided like million stars in front of my eyes. It was a chance to wish on everything right there. I wished to be a chameleon soul this year,
a singer singing new songs, an artist performing new roles, a poet writing new prose, a rider exploring new roads, a lover moved by passion, love and desire. I wished to be a “rolling stone” who wants to move forward, enjoy the ride, rock… and roll.
guess my top was a good birthday choice after all.
