Happy Weekend!

Happy weekend my friends! Even though the weather we’re having doesn’t exemplify fall in any way, it’s amazing what a few visits to the pumpkin patch, fall scented candles and a little decor can do! It actually still feels very festive! Last night I hosted a small pumpkin painting night for Romeo’s cousins. I have a tremendous amount of glitter all over my dining room that I will most likely never be able to clean entirely! I can blame most of it on my own son who painted his pumpkins black and then poured orange, green and purple glitter on top. I thought it was a cute idea so I didn’t stop him! Mom of the year or was that dumb on my part?! The things we do to create memories for our children! I made a big pot of chili (doubled this recipe) and these yummy cornbread muffins. We also opened up a few special bottles of wine we’ve been saving from our trip to Napa! It was a great evening and I decided not to take any photos or document it so I could actually enjoy every minute. Hope you’re all having a wonderful, relaxing weekend.
