How have I not posted about this FABULOUS faille Miu Miu skirt! I purchased it last year at this event. It just so happened that my mom was in town to see the little one, our financial planner business dinner was canceled, and so Mr. S and I had an impromptu date night in the middle of the week! HOORAY!

I decided to be “dressy casual” as Mr. S calls it. And this super fun and flirty skirt was calling my name. In case you aren’t familiar with faille, it is a woven fabric with a faint ribbed pattern – I almost equate it to grosgrain ribbon. It has a stiffness and excellent drape that makes it perfect for a skirt or special occasion dress. You may have seen those gorgeous TIBI midi skirts around the blogosphere. Anyhow, I’ve worn this skirt time and time again, but it’s never made an appearance on the blog. It can be dressed up or down, which is a plus plus for me.

Style Rx: Wear a graphic tee and circle skirt with heels for a perfect “dressy casual” date night look. Add bling… do you really need a reason for bling?!?!!!
